Thrift shopping is one of my favorite ways to unwind and gather inspiration. Whether I'm strolling through the aisles of Goodwill after a busy work day or making plans to travel to a flea market out of state, I'm always on the hunt for secondhand treasure both near and far.
I've noticed that over the years, there are a few key types of pieces that I'm always eager to purchase, six of which I'm highlighting below. Use these categories as inspiration for your next thrifting trip—and thank me later!

🥒🍔 Pickle Cheeseburger Bites – Mini Burger Bliss 🍔🥒
Tiny, tangy, and totally snackable—perfect for summer cookouts or game-day snacking! Makes 4–6 servings, only 20 minutes from prep to plate.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
½ tsp salt
2 Tbsp ketchup
2 Tbsp mayonnaise
1 Tbsp olive oil
4 slices American cheese
28 dill pickle chips (that’s the bun!)
14 slices plum tomato
14 small lettuce leaves
Directions:
Form patties: Shape beef into 1½″ mini patties (about 14 total). Sprinkle with salt.
Make “special sauce”: Stir ketchup + mayo in a small bowl.
Cook patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet on medium. Cook patties ~2 min each side. After flipping, top each with a small piece of American cheese to melt.
Assemble bites: Thread one patty onto a skewer, then stack with a pickle "bun," tomato slice, and lettuce.
Serve with sauce: Offer that ketchup-mayo blend on the side for dipping.
